Family Update!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  My computer died.  But I now have a new one (yay, pre-Black Friday deals), so I will be trying to catch up on all of the things we have been doing.

Let me just give a quick current update.  It's Nov 15 and all is well.  Ben is on a business trip in Beaver Creek with Crocs on a marketing/team building retreat.  This semester he is taking accounting and economics and they are hard.  He is especially struggling with economics because the teacher is difficult, but he is doing ok.

Elizabeth is still in Joy School and Preschool and she loves it.  She is still all girl and currently is really into art projects and playing with her pretend kitchen.

James is 15 months and has grown so much in the past couple of months.  He is so active and gets into everything; it is so new to me because Elizabeth was not like that.  He also hasn't been very vocal, which has made me worried after having a non-stop talker like Elizabeth, but I have been calmed and assured that he is normal.  Since my freak out about him not talking he has started communicating more.  He says "Mama" and actually is talking to me. He also makes car noises, dog sounds, elephant sounds and giraff sounds (aka he sticks his tounge out like a giraffe- super cute). He loves to play with cars and is starting to get into balls, he has quite the throwing arm.

I just got called as the new Primary President in our ward.  It was hard picking counselors because we are new and I don't know anyone. I have a steep learning curve because I do not know any of the kids either- it will be fun to get to know them all.  I have never been in a Primary leadership role so I am a little nervous to jump right in as President. I have also slowly started learning all of the things that we need to do and it is more than I had initially thought of (scouting, achievement days, baptisms, Youth prep, ect).  But I am so excited to have something to do and some way to serve in the church!!

So that is our short update. Now I will slowly update the blog!!
