Stones Party FUN

I love living so close to family and I love the opportunities we have to get together (usually about once a month) to celebrate birthdays and holidays. At the end of September we all got together to celebrate Clayton and my birthday's.  Clayton wanted a Star War's party so Deanna made cool cupcakes. As usual it was filled with fun.

We also got together for a SPOOKY Halloween party at Deanna and Ricky's new house in Denver.  There was lots of food; as our contribution to the 'good food', Ben and I made a pumpkin vomiting guacamole (thank you pinterest). The best part was that it was soo disgusting looking that the kids would not touch it- leaving the guacamole (Ben made it and it was great) for the adults.

After eating the kids got all dressed in their costumes and we walked down the street to the Elementary School where they were having a 'Trunk-or-Treat'.  We were shocked to see the 100's of people there (trying to get candy from 20-30 cars) and decided to go home and improvise.  We put adults in each of the rooms in the Turner's house and the kids got to go Trick-or-Treating to each room (this did turn into a mass run around- but it was fun).

AND- it was also Devynn's 1st Birthday.  It was adorable watching her eat her cake and she loved her presents (or at least the bags and wrapping paper that her presents came in).

As always it is fun to see family and just be together.
