Ron's Stroke

On Thursday April 17 Ron had a stroke. It was such a scary time for our family and to see such a strong man struggle.  Ben was grateful that he was able to be here to help his mom and Rachel through the ups and downs.  

After a couple days in the ICU he was moved to a rehabilitation floor.  He had lost most movement of his left side and began physical therapy to gain that movement back.  It was a long and hard process; Ben, Rachel and Nedra all went to help and support him.  Ron is one of the most hard working and unrelenting  men I know and this was evident in his determination to get better.

He is home now, and it is great to go and see him there.  He is still doing physical therapy and still has a long way to go but we are so grateful for the progress he has made and that he is doing so well.
