Dawson's Summer in CO

It was so much fun to have the Dawson's stay in Colorado for a couple weeks after the reunion (waiting for their base housing to open up in CA).  Elizabeth LOVES them and had so much fun.  

We participated in Chick-fil-a's Cow Appreciation Day; a day that you can get a free meal by going in dressed like a cow.  Andrea made cute costumes and I think Elizabeth makes an adorable cow!

 

 

 

We went to Golden Ponds on a frog catching walk but ended up finding NO FROGS; we did find 5 baby toads (really small) and Elizabeth didn't like them that much. She was much more interested in the snake that we saw on our path. 

We spent one day in Estes Park; feeding chipmunks, outdoor picnic, walking the strip and delicious treats.

Andrea and Mom helped me to cut and assemble 12 Freezer meals- YUM!

 

 

 We played ping pong and pool at Dad's work, went shopping (trying to induce labor), combated some nasty head colds, they made adorable onesies for the new little man, Elizabeth ate her weight in cheese puffs (thanks Michael and Jasen), we had an endless supply of tasty food (including the meat tornado!) and had SO MUCH FUN!!
