Sunflower Farm

Elizabeth LOVES animals so I thought it would be fun to take her to a farm.  I found an amazing kids farm in Longmont called the Sunflower Farm. This farm is made for kids to come and experience what a farm would really be like.  There were TONS of animals that she could look at (and some she could feed), a hay maze to climb on, huge sand boxes (one in a silo- so cool), barns to explore, the biggest tree swings I have ever seen, tractors to play on and so much more!

We went May 15 and it was a perfect time to see lots of baby animals; there were baby cows, sheep and goats.  There were also free range chickens, ducks, peacocks and a dog.

She loved it; especially feeding the goats and the sandboxes.  There were picnic areas all over, but I didn't take a lunch (bummer), but next time we go we will have to eat there and spend more time.  It was so much fun for her and I honestly loved it also!!

She liked the cow until it mood really loud by us- then she was not so sure.
