Ben is AMAZING. He constantly astounds me with his kindness and service minded soul. We got the first snow of the season tonight and as we lay in bed, hunkered under a pile of blankets with a heating pad at our feet, Ben decided to text one of the less-active guys in our ward and see if he was okay. The guy responded that he needed a blanket and he was a little cold.
Ben bounded out of bed, got dressed, got a couple thick blankets and a coat he thought might fit this man and ventured out into the snow. As I sat inside watching him dust the snow off the car at 10:00 at night I felt so proud.
I am so grateful that I am married to a worthy priesthood holder who honors his priesthood duties and his callings. I am so grateful that Ben is so willing to help those in need. I am so grateful that he listens to the simple prompting of the spirit telling him to contact a member of the ward and see if anything is needed. I am amazed by his service and the love he has for others!!
