Elizabeth is a crazy sleeper and moves around all the time while she sleeps. You can literally check her and go in 10 minutes later and she will be in a completely different position; it makes keeping her warm under a blanket a challenge. I decided to take pictures of her every night for a week; it was actually over a couple weeks.

Labor Day Weekend
On Saturday September 5 we woke up to find a race going on at the park across the street so we went over to check it out. While there we saw that they were having a Kids Fun Run, so we signed Elizabeth up.
I ran home to get the camera and missed the first part of the race but Ben said that in the rush of all the kids at the beginning she tripped and ripped up her knee. When I got there he was carrying her and she was bawling. I took her and promised to run with her and so she decided to go on. We ran the whole way (half a mile) and she was so happy when she finished. I was so proud of her and she was so excited!
My Dad added an inspirational thought to this picture!
On Labor Day we went to the Louisville parade on Main Street. We had to leave early so we decided to be at the beginning of the parade but we chose wrong and ended up at the end of the parade and it was pretty slow and they ran out of candy before they got to us; it was sad. Ben went home to get the car while Elizabeth and I walked up to the beginning (it was over by then) and he picked us up at the other side.
We then went over to the Newson's house to have a BBQ with some friends. It was fun to have everyone over and to be with friends.

Some Sibling Love
October 7- These are some of my favorite pictures of them because they are both smiling.
September 17- We buried the kids in stuffed animals, kind of E.T style. Elizabeth thought it was hilarious and James just thought we were weird.
September 24- I was taking some cute pictures of our wrinkley naked baby boy and Elizabeth wanted to join in.
September 5- The Gibson's gave us these cute Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts for the kids. I was so frustrated with toddler disobedience on this morning and was having a hard time taking these pictures but with Ben's help we were able to get some taken.

James' Baby Blessing
On Sunday October 11 we blessed James in church. Ben was joined in the circle by my Dad, his Dad and the Bishop and it was a beautiful blessing. One of Dad's coworkers, Grant and Shirley Sanders, came to see the blessing and it was great to see them and have their support.
James wore a beautifully knit outfit from Grandma Baker with little blue sail boats. He was so big that we had to hurry and get him blessed so that it still fit and we were pushing it. I am so happy to have this cute little man in our family forever.
